Your Purpose
In this role, you are responsible for delivering the revenue and sales strategy of Nijhuis Saur Industries across the Americas and LATAM region. You identify new business opportunities, develop and implement strategic growth plans, and act as a trusted advisor at management level. You analyse market developments, spot opportunities and translate them into effective commercial actions and tailored solutions.
You have solid knowledge of water treatment, work independently and possess strong commercial skills to drive decision‑making. Based on market analyses and proposal development, you define sales targets and initiate focused actions to expand our market share. You also build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners and government bodies.
You maintain existing relationships and actively acquire new partners. You independently conduct contract negotiations, prepare proposals together with colleagues and successfully close deals. In addition, you gather and analyse market information and document relevant customer and sales data to continuously strengthen our commercial strategy.
What you will do
• Implement the revenue and sales strategy across the Americas and LATAM region.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
• Prepare, negotiate and successfully close proposals and contracts.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses and share relevant insights with management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners and government bodies.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans that contribute to sustainable growth and profitability.
• Act as the company’s ambassador and spokesperson at conferences, events and in the media.
You bring
• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a commercial or technical field.
• At least five years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the water treatment industry.
• Strong communication skills: you listen actively and tailor your message to different audiences.
• High adaptability: you adjust easily to changing circumstances and quickly adapt strategies or approaches when needed.
• A structured, independent and results‑oriented working style, with a clear customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent command of English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and experience working in an international environment with diverse cultures.
• A valid driver’s licence, enabling you to visit customers and prospects in the region.
Working with us means
You will receive a gross monthly salary between €5,500 and €6,700 based on a full‑time 40‑hour workweek. A bonus scheme applies, offering up to two gross monthly salaries upon achieving targets. You also receive 8% holiday allowance and compensation for the buyout of 6 ADV days, amounting to 2.298% of your gross monthly salary.
You are entitled to 27 vacation days and 7 ADV days, giving you plenty of time to recharge.
You benefit from flexible working hours and the option to work from home one day per week.
