H&S Manager
🚀Saur Polska Sp. z o.o. is part of the international SAUR Group, operating in the water and wastewater management sector as well as environmental services. In Poland, we are developing an organisation that delivers important infrastructure and operational projects.
We are looking for a person who will take comprehensive responsibility for the Health & Safety and Fire Safety area across the Saur Group companies ,in Poland, and act as a partner to the Management Board in building a safe working environment.
Your responsibilities
Managing the Health & Safety and Fire Safety area comprehensively across Saur Group companies in Poland: Poznań, Warsaw, Cielądz and Konstancin-Jeziorna
Implementing and supervising Health & Safety rules in accordance with the Labour Code and applicable regulations.
Maintaining Health & Safety documentation, including workplace accident registers
Organising and conducting initial Health & Safety training and Fire Safety training,
Providing expert support to managers during workplace-specific training,
Conducting post-accident proceedings and preparing documentation, conclusions and preventive recommendations
Carrying out occupational risk assessments for workstations,
Preparing and reviewing instructions, procedures and internal regulations related to Health & Safety and Fire Safety
Monitoring working conditions and compliance with safety regulations and rules,
Identifying risks and recommending preventive measures,
Advising on ergonomics, workplace organisation and the selection of personal protective equipment,
Preparing periodic analyses of the Health & Safety status and reports for the Management Board and the SAUR Group,
Participating in inspections conducted by the National Labour Inspectorate, Sanitary Inspectorate and representing the company before external institutions,
Supervising the timeliness and quality of periodic training,
Performing the duties of a Fire Safety Inspector,
Supporting the maintenance of an Occupational Health & Safety management system compliant with ISO standards,
Participating in meetings and projects carried out within the SAUR Group,
Building a strong safety culture and promoting continuous improvement in all Health & Safety-related areas.

Our requirements
University degree in a relevant field or postgraduate studies in Health & Safety,
A few years of experience managing the Health & Safety area,
Very good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, labour law and fire protection regulations,
Practical knowledge of conducting post-accident proceedings and occupational risk assessments,
Experience in delivering Health & Safety and Fire Safety training,
Ability to prepare reports, analyses and recommendations for management,
Independence, responsibility and good work organisation,
Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with employees, managers and external institutionss
Category B driving licence and willingness to travel on business within Poland.
Nice to have
Experience in a multi-site organisation,
Experience in the municipal, waste management, infrastructure, industrial or construction sector,
Knowledge of ISO 45001,
Fire Safety Inspector qualifications,
English language skills enabling cooperation in an international environment.
