Legionella Risk Assessor

Summary:
We are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor/ Environmental Services Consultant to manage an existing account base within the Southwest of the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments to comply with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and further relevant documents across a range of commercial and industrial properties
- Produce all reports accurately and to a high standard, with clear recommendations for corrective actions and control measures.
- Understand technical guidance and documentation
- Production of schematics
- You will need to be flexible in terms of travel with potential stayaways across the UK
- Be capable of following written and verbal instructions accurately and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work to stringent turnaround times of reports
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Water Hygiene and a minimum of 1 year role specific experience.
- Candidates must have a relevant Legionella risk assessment qualification City & Guilds or equivalent.
- The ability to work independently whilst also being a team player.
- The ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Full, UK driving licence
Working for us means:
- The salary is between £28,000 & £36,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.

- Probationary Period – 6 months.

- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
