We are currently looking for a Independent Accountant to be based in Warsaw, Poland, for a company specialized in water services market.

It reports to the Chief Accountant, cooperates with the Finance Manager, other members of the accounting team and other departments of the company

Mission:

Comprehensive accounting service for one Polish company and partial accounting service for the other group companies. (A total of 6 Polish companies with internal accounting on Polish accounting standards and 2 Cypriot companies with external accounting on IAS).

Responsibilities:

• Decreeing, posting and verification of source documents (cost invoices, revenue invoices, bank statements, settlements of staff delegations, provisions, RMK)
• Keeping records of fixed and intangible assets
• Clearing of settlements · preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, others) · reporting to external institutions (CSO, NBP, others)
• Preparation of financial reports under the supervision of the chief accountant · participation in month and year-end closing process ··
• Debt collection - calls for payment and reminders Software

Requirements:

• Degree in economics, accounting, business administration or similar.
• Good knowledge of English; French nice to have
• 3 years of experience in accounting, experience in an accounting office or in auditing would be welcome
• 
  
• Knowledge in Enova accounting programme 
• Good level of Excel and Power Point); group data reporting systems (Oracle Hyperion, Viareport, others) , and in-house ERP systems (Unisoft ZSI, Service System)
• Possible trips to Poznań e.g. once a quarter 1-2 days.
