NIJHUIS INDUSTRIES CENTRAL EUROPE, as part of Nijhuis Saur Industries – an international company leading in the field of water and waste technologies for the industrial sector, is looking to hire a Technical Engineer in Türkiye. We are looking for a specialist responsible for sales activities in Türkiye who is interested in long-term cooperation.

Position: Project Engineer
Location: Türkiye – preferably from Istanbul or Ankara, but location is not a critical factor.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the integration of various engineering disciplines into unified solutions for our projects. This role demands deep technical expertise, advanced project management skills, and a commitment to ensuring design and construction compliance throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering Coordination:

• Coordinate and integrate designs from internal and external sources using CAD systems.
• Conduct calculations and prepare detailed technical specifications.
• Ensure that all designs comply with manufacturing standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.

Technical Guidance and Support:

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for project scope discussions with sales teams, clients, and production units.
• Provide on-site support during the assembly and installation phases, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
• Offer expert guidance during project execution to ensure technical excellence and compliance.

Project and Information Management:

• Manage technical coordination across various engineering teams.
• Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Implement rigorous information management systems for efficient project execution.

Reporting and Compliance Oversight:

• Monitor and evaluate project timelines and budgets, taking proactive steps to address any deviations.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication and Negotiation:

• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project goals and deliverables.
• Negotiate and discuss technical aspects with clients and suppliers, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in industries such as Water Treatment, Oil & Gas, Food & Pharma, or the Chemical sector.
• Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from design to completion.

Skills:

• Excellent command of English and strong technical communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering science and design principles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of projects independently.
• Proficiency in CAD systems and project management software.

Certifications:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Competencies:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive project management style.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in all project activities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for engineering site visits and client meetings.
