We are looking for a specialist responsible for sales activities in Türkiye who is interested in long-term cooperation.
Position: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Asian side of Istanbul, Türkiye – preferably in districts like Pendik or nearby
The Technical Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in costing and preparing technical-commercial quotations. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen, ensuring the seamless integration of engineering specifications, while providing essential support to the Sales Manager. Strong knowledge of equipment in the water/wastewater industry and a proactive approach to identifying technical solutions tailored to client needs are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Costing and preparing technical-commercial proposals.
- Drawing P&ID and Layout (2D-3D).
- Issuing RFQs to Sub-suppliers and negotiating for the most competitive offers.
- Attending site visits or meetings with the Sales & Project teams.
- Providing technical expertise to the Sales Manager during client meetings and sales negotiations.
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop and recommend engineering solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in industrial wastewater treatment.
Experience:
- Proven experience in technical and construction engineering, preferably in industrial wastewater projects.
- Background in supporting sales processes and working closely with sales teams.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD – Revit.
- Strong communication skills, especially with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, maintaining professionalism.
- Fluency in Turkish (mandatory) and proficiency in English for technical communication.
Certifications:
- Valid Category B Driver’s License.
