NIJHUIS INDUSTRIES CENTRAL EUROPE, as part of Nijhuis Saur Industries – an international company leading in the field of water and waste technologies for the industrial sector, is looking to hire a Technical Engineer in Türkiye. We are looking for a specialist responsible for sales activities in Türkiye who is interested in long-term cooperation.

Position: Technical Engineer

Location: Asian side of Istanbul, Türkiye – preferably in districts like Pendik or near Sabiha Gökçen Airport

The Technical Engineer will oversee construction and technical activities, ensuring the seamless integration of engineering specifications with construction processes, while also providing essential sales support. This role demands in-depth technical knowledge, robust project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills to support the Sales Manager in maintaining client relationships and identifying technical solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical and Construction Supervision:

• Oversee construction works in line with technical specifications, project designs, health and safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure quality control and timely execution of construction activities.
• Monitor the accuracy and compliance of on-site works with project requirements.

Sales Support and Client Engagement:

• Provide technical support to the Sales Manager during client meetings and sales negotiations.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing technical expertise and solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Manage construction and technical documentation, including preparation of as-built and acceptance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, ensuring accessibility and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as the key technical liaison among investors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide on-site support during key construction phases, ensuring that technical specifications are met.
• Support the site manager in all aspects of construction coordination.

Project and Compliance Management:

• Supervise and coordinate technical tasks among engineering and construction teams.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, proactively addressing discrepancies.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local health, safety, and environmental standards.

Communication and Negotiation:

• Regularly update project stakeholders, ensuring transparency in project milestones and deliverables.
• Negotiate technical aspects with clients and suppliers to meet project specifications.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Proven experience in technical and construction engineering, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting sales processes and working closely with sales teams.

Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and CAD systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ability to manage construction teams efficiently, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and industry standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage multiple aspects of construction and technical projects with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for technical communication.

Certifications:

• Valid Category B Driver’s License.
