UK/European/RoW Sales Manager (Digital Sales)
Summary:
NSI Digital Solutions part of the NSI group, through its brand – Riventa – is building an excellent reputation for providing industry-leading asset, process and network optimisation technology to industrial sectors including water, desalination, manufacturing and petro-chemical industries.
Our core technology enables the real-time auditing and monitoring of water assets. The real-time performance data we obtain is used to optimise the operation of assets such as pumps, turbines and blowers, as well as wider water treatment technology processes. The information we generate is provided to owners, managers and operators, through a digital platform so that whole-life costs can be managed and minimised.
With a small but growing portfolio of “Blue-chip” clients around the world, we are developing our business through innovative technology and a customer–focused approach to business. We work with clients to identify suitable application for our technology in order to deliver optimization and cost saving results. Delivering financial results is at the heart of what we do.
We also seek to increase our offering by being the digital platform of choice to aggregate many digital applications from us and third parties.
We have a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join a talented multi-disciplined team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for developing our international markets within the water and other industries.
The successful candidate should be able to create the sales proposition and associated marketing, generate leads, drive leads into tangible quantifiable opportunities, identify potential clients, seek out potential projects, develop offerings and commercially innovative proposals.
You will work in an environment which is stimulating, flexible and focused on achieving high standards of work. With a growing multi-national customer base, we have an office in Seoul and through our parent company [SAUR Nijhuis Industries] have the opportunity to work with subsidiaries around the world.
The ideal candidate must have experience of the Water industry or similar utilities market and ideally will have established relationships with key industry companies, trade associations and individuals.
A digital sales background would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will ideally live near a main UK airport with willingness to travel as travel 1-week per month overseas is expected.
Job Description:
- Create the sales proposition and associated marketing collateral.
- Generate leads, convert to opportunities, and ultimately sales.
- To maintain and develop current end-user customer relationships.
- Deliver business growth in international markets through new and existing clients.
- Identify new customers and partners within International markets / industry.
- Ideally International business development & sales management experience but could also suit very ambitious / talented salesperson looking for managerial role / step up.
- Numbers & process driven individual is important.
- Experience in relevant industries (Water / Industrial / Utilities) would be desirable.
- Role will ideally suit someone with lots of energy and on their way up in their career.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Excellent sales pipeline management skills
- Create and develop project proposal for and with clients
- Engineering or technical background would be advantageous
- Good organisation, planning and problem solving skills
- Report progress and results - proactively
