Senior Project Planner
Summary:
We are looking for a senior planner competent to construct and manage NEC3 and NEC4 compliant programmes. You will provide full project planning services across all phases of the program. Major phases of the works may include; engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently from a scheduling perspective but expected to participate and heavily contribute to the team environment by leading and clearly communicating the planning deliverables from conception through to successful completion and close out.

Job Description:
Develop, control, monitor, analyse and report on schedule related aspects of the projects using Primavera P6 software. - Accountable for the production, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project plans.
- Plan resource levelling to smooth out resource overloads, future forecasting of resourcing and produce a cost analysis report against budget.
- A clear level of planning control, governance, and reporting.
- Ensure Programme Integration, identification of issues and identify solutions.
- Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings, PMI’s, and compensation notices).
- The production, monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project plans.
- Work with the Project Manager and Project team to establish the project activities, cost and durations and ensure that these reflect project scope, constraints and commitments. Challenge as necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance.
- Adding value by challenging the plan where required, liaise with the project team and report at all levels.
- Assess supplier PFAs and ensure quality of programmes submitted as part of NEC3/4.
- Support the assessment compensation events under the NEC3/4 bespoke contract.
Qualifications
- Primavera (P6) trained and experienced.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a construction project planner.
- Knowledge/experience of NEC3/4, standard form of contract, is essential.
- Good working knowledge of various standard forms of contract.
- Effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach.
