YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LIFE AT SAUR
The role of the Operational Excellence Engineer is to help BUs improve their operational performance through:
Implementation of best practices and standards, in particular in relation to field performance,
Digital and data-related initiatives,
Change management,
Development of a continuous improvement culture.
Under the authority of the Operational Excellence director, he/she leads projects for different business units and performs technical tasks (data analysis, AI development, method development).
Her/his main missions are :
Lead projects for different business units with a thorough methodology,
Field performance:
Define and review KPIs related to efficiency, performance and non-quality costs.
Define standard procedures to guarantee best efficiency.
Identify best practices, thanks to a strong presence on the field.
Ensure best practices and standard procedures are applied.
Set up routines dedicated to performance.
Digital :
Identify opportunities where digital solutions can improve operation efficiency.
Set up specifications for the development of new tools.
Propose strategies for development and implementation.
Act as a bridge between operational teams, IT and digital partners.
Continuous improvement :
Identify anomalies, initiate root cause analyses and define corrective actions.
Conduct fine data analysis to pinpoint root cause or weaknesses in the organization or procedures.
Conduct performance benchmark to identify areas of improvement.
Promote the identification and promotion of good practices (scheduling, intervention, general management, process).
Build an open and collaborative culture of continuous improvement and excellence within SAUR group.
Participate in the creation of digital group dashboards.
YOUR PROFILE
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Good knowledge of Lean methods, Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement.
Proficiency in IT tools, artificial intelligence tools and data analysis (Power BI; knowledge of Python would be an advantage).
Open-mindedness, rigour and organisational skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Very good communication skills with operational and technical stakeholders, with ease in multicultural environments.
Experience gained in a sector with high standards regarding quality, safety or procedures.
Experience in water services, drinking water production or the water industry would be an advantage.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).

International travel may be required
YOUR SALARY AND BENEFITS AT SAUR
You will join the Saur Group without any probationary period.
Your fixed remuneration will consist of a basic salary of between 40,000 euros and 52,000 euros depending on your profile, paid over 14 months
The target bonus is 10% acording to company policy, individual objectives, pro-rata to the accrual etc
You will, of course, be entitled to 22 days’ paid annual leave
